In celebration of International Women’s Day, the second annual WE’RE HERE! skate and create is back!!
Happening THIS WEEKEND (March 6+7) this event focuses on creating a safe and welcoming space for under represented voices in our community - WOMEN, YOUTH, BEGINNER, QUEER, NONBINARY, and BIPOC skaters.
Parts of the green ramp as well as some new bits and pieces have been set up at SLICE of LIFE NEXTDOOR - located at 1638 Venables Street.
Pre-registration is required, so jump on over to the Vancouver Skateboard Coalition website ASAP to secure your spot! As of right now, there are still several spaces left for beginners and kids/under 19, so act fast if you hope to join.
Masks and social distancing are required. Please only register for one session as space is quite limited.
